Privacy policy

The use of our site is possible without providing personal data. Newsletter

By pressing the registration button on our website, you expressly give your consent to receive the newsletter via e-mail.

The newsletters contain current topics about the work of Ökologische Tierzucht gGmbH and news from the industry. Thus the name and e-mail address of the recipient will be saved. The newsletter can be cancelled at any time by clicking on the link at the end of the newsletter.

The newsletter is sent by “The Rocket Science Group” (USA) through the service “MailChimp”. Demeter e.V. manages the data of the Ökologische Tierzucht gGmbH. In order to maintain Demeter’s level of data protection, a contract based on the EU standard contract clauses was concluded with “The Rocket Science Group”.

The data transmitted to Demeter e.V. (as described above), will only be transmitted to “The Rocket Science Group” and stored by “The Rocket Science Group”. Other third parties will not receive your data. Upon registration the service “MailChimp” sends an e-mail, which allows you to confirm your registration. Furthermore, the service “MailChimp” uses analysis possibilities, which are used when opening the newsletter. Thereby additional data, such as IP address, browser, operating system, time of access and location of access are collected.

“The Rocket Science Group” also uses the analysis tool “Google Analytics” from Google inc. and may include this in the newsletter. If you open your e-mail in your browser (link in the e-mail), we have no influence on the data collected there.

The legal basis is according to the regulations of the Data Protection Basic Regulation (DSGVO). We inform you that the consent to the sending of e-mail addresses is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a, 7 DSGVO and § 7 para. 2 no. 3, or para. 3 UWG. The use of the dispatch service provider “The Rocket Science Group”, the performance of the statistical surveys and analyses as well as the logging of the registration process is not permitted.

The use of the shipping service provider “The Rocket Science Group”, the performance of the statistical surveys and analyses as well as the logging of the registration procedure, are based on our legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

We would also like to point out that you can object to the future processing of your personal data in accordance with the legal requirements pursuant to Art. 21 DSGVO at any time. The objection can be made in particular against processing for the purposes of direct advertising.

Newsletter tracking

Our newsletters contain so-called tracking pixels (web bugs), which enable us to recognize whether and when an e-mail was opened and which links in the e-mail were followed by the personalized recipient.

We store this data so that we can tailor our newsletters optimally to the wishes and interests of our subscribers. Accordingly, the data thus collected is used to send personalised newsletters to the respective recipient.

With the revocation of the consent to receive the newsletter, the consent to the aforementioned tracking is also revoked.

Contact possibility

On our website we offer you the possibility to contact us by e-mail and/or via a contact form. In this case, the information provided by the user will be stored for the purpose of processing his contact. The data will not be passed on to third parties. A comparison of the data collected in this way with data that may be collected by other components of our site is also not carried out.

Use of reCAPTCHA

In order to protect input forms on our site, we use the service “reCAPTCHA” of the company Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter “Google”. The use of this service makes it possible to distinguish whether the corresponding input is of human origin or whether it is misused by automated machine processing.

To our knowledge, the referrer URL, the IP address, the behaviour of website visitors, information about the operating system, browser and length of stay, cookies, display instructions and scripts, the user’s input behaviour and mouse movements in the “reCAPTCHA” checkbox area are transmitted to “Google”.
